Our Mission
At Canadian UFO Report, we are dedicated to gathering and analysing UFO sightings across Canada. Our mission is to provide accurate and insightful reports that contribute to the understanding of unidentified aerial phenomena.
Since 1989, Ufology Research (formerly known as Ufology Research of Manitoba), or UFOROM, has solicited sightings data from active Canadian researchers. This data is annually compiled in the Canadian UFO Survey.
The Survey is made publicly available in an attempt to promote the dissemination of information across the field of ufology.
This is the current team actively working on the annual reports and pursuing the data in this field.

Chris Rutkowski - Team Lead / Canada's Go-To Ufologist
Chris Rutkowski is a Canadian science writer and educator with degrees in astronomy and education and a passion for teaching science concepts to children and adults. Since the mid-1970s, he’s been studying reports of UFOs (UAP) and other unusual phenomena, writing about his investigations and research in various media. An established communicator in postsecondary education, he has written for and edited scientific publications and has his work published in peer-reviewed journals.
Rutkowski has had ten published books on UFOs and related issues since 1993, his most recent being Canada’s UFOs: Declassified (2021), detailing some of the most remarkable UFO cases investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and the National Research Council of Canada. Rutkowski has taught space and astronomy courses and is past-president of the Winnipeg Centre of the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada. He is affiliated with organizations including the Center for UFO Studies, the Galileo Project, and the Scientific Coalition for UAP Studies.
He was an advisor for the Canada Sky Project and helped provide insight that led to the recommendations in the report.

Leanne has been involved in data analysis for the Canadian UFO Survey since 2024. She understands strategic communications, multi-level marketing, media buying, digital strategies and public relations. She is committed, driven and passionate about bringing new energy and attention to UFO reporting and overall transparency in Canada. With her shared interest for both communications and ufology, this is a dream team for Leanne to be a part of.
She is also an author and TV personality. Leanne is a member of the trio, Beyond the Haunting Investigations, who actively investigate paranormal phenomena all over the world.
Geoff Dittman - Researcher / Data Analysis
Geoff became interested in all things UFO related when, as a young child, he learned of an alleged UFO landing on the property next door to the family cottage. He eventually stumbled upon the Canadian UFO Survey back in 1994, and has been involved ever since. His day job is much more down to Earth, and has had a career in accounting and finance for the past thirty years.
